Blasphemous Rumours

I’ve got things to say, but rarely the time to say them.  Time to slow things down a little – and now I can publish when I have the time.

Since you’re here, you might like to know what makes me tick…so here are a few words that describe me – good indicators of the kinds of things you might hear me talk about in this blog.

music junkie . movie buff . university grad . perpetual student . geographer . vegetarian . diabetic . open mind . slightly left of centre . environmental & social justice advocate . cat adopter

And if you haven’t figured it out quite yet, my posts and categories are typically song or album titles.  It’s really tough sometimes to find an appropriate song for a post…but it’s a challenge I like so far.

Don’t be afraid to say hello – that’s what the comment boxes are for.  I’d love to hear what you think.  Feel free to check out my blog friends (Blends) and blogs I like (Blikes) as well.

Stick around…you might find out more…

  1. music junkie – check.
movie buff – I’ve seen alot. If that makes me a buff…awesome.
university grad – on more than one occusion
    perpetual student – see above
geographer – grant writer. it sounds similar anyway
    vegetarian – check.
    diabetic – fortunately, no.
    open mind – check
slightly left of centre – check
environmental & social justice advocate – check.
cat adopter – unfortunately, on more than one occasion.

Sounds like we have a lot in common. 😉

  2. That’s a pretty cool idea to use the song and album titles….. I went through a period on my blog where the titles were great quotes from some of my favorite movies…..even if they had nothing at all to do with the post subject itself. Have a great day!

    • Hmm…well, it all started when I discovered a lovely little Toronto comic strip called He Is Just A Rat…starring my high school hero, Ratboy. Around the same time, I got the nickname ratchick…it came from trying to come up with an e-mail handle for Hotmail, back when it was HoTMaiL and not owned by Microsoft. Unfortunately ratchick was taken as a login ID when I joined up with WordPress, and so, She Is Just A Rat was born. And I just liked putting the periods in between the words because it looks cool. Thanks for stopping by!
